Yes… it is official… Ploning is our country’s bet for this year’s 81st Academy Awards. This was proudly announced by Mr. Boy Abunda in “The Buzz”.
I have no comment on this because I personally was not able to see Ploning in theaters. I just want to give my sincerest congratulations to whole cast and crew of Ploning. May you bring home the first ever Oscars from our country.
The 81st Academy Awards will be telecast on Feb. 23, 2009 (Manila Date). Official entries will be announced sometime last week of January.
